Overview Tab

The overview tab is where primary campaign options are set.

  1. Campaign Select menu - click to select another campaign to edit.
  2. Campaign Option menu - click to display. This menu contains the following option;
    1. Add Category - create and quick-add a new category. Category selection is only in the Campaign Overview Tab.
    2. Add Traffic Source - create and quick-add a new traffic source. Traffic source selection is only in the Campaign Overview Tab.
    3. Add Vendor - create and quick-add a new vendor. Vendor selection is only used in the Offer Tab while creating a new offer.
    4. Add Vertical - create and quick-add a new vertical. Vertical selection is used in the Offer Tab and Landing Page Tab while creating a new offer/page.
    5. Clone Campaign - this option will result in a popup where specific data (offers, rules, etc)  can be set for cloning.
    6. Reset Clicks - this option will reset all clicks and conversions for the campaign to 0. This cannot be undone.
  3. Tab refresh - click to reload/refresh the current tab.
  4. Campaign Tab menu - tabs used for viewing specific options/data for a campaign.
    1. Paths - path management options. Note, this tab is only available after setting the Campaign Type to Path.
    2. Landing Pages - landing page management options. Note, this tab is only available after setting the Campaign Type to Landing Page.
    3. Offers - offer management options.
    4. Rules - rule management options.
    5. Tokens - tokens are set and managed here.
    6. Tracking - holds campaign specific tracking options, including the campaign and global postback links.
    7. Postbacks - 3rd-party postback management options.
    8. Redirects - contains a table uses to identify where this campaign is being used by redirect rules in other campaigns.
  5. Campaign Name - name of the campaign.
  6. Default CPC - the default cpc (cost-per-click) of each click received.
    1. This can be overridden on a per-click basis by appending &cpc=VALUE to the campaign link.
    2. VALUE must be replaced by a traffic source macro which will add the cost of the click.
  7. Campaign Type - the following campaign types are available;
    1. Direct Link
    2. Landing Page
    3. Path
  8. Category - used for segmenting campaigns. 
  9. Traffic Source - by setting a traffic source, source tokens, postbacks, and other options will become available.
  10. Referrer Masking - set to "On" to enable. When enabled, clicks will go through 1 or more redirects in an attempt to "blank" the referrer.
  11. Spider/Bot Traffic - controls the flow of detected bots.
    1. Allow - detected bots will flow through a campaign as any other visitor. Note, these clicks are stored in a separate click log and will not be reflected in stats.
    2. Blank Page - detected bots will be redirected to a 404 not found page.
    3. URL Redirect - detected bots will be redirected to the link set in Bot Redirect URL, Note; if no link is entered, the click will be redirected to a 404 not found page.
  12. Bot Redirect URL - url utilized when URL Redirect is selected for the Spider/Bot Traffic setting.
  13. Filter Override URL - use to override a url set in a filter that applies to this campaign (if any.)
  14. % to Landing Pages - set to less than 100 to split campaign traffic between landing pages and direct link. 
  15. Direct Link Behavior - sets how clicks are routed if bypassing the landing pages on a Path or Landing Page campaign. Options are;
    1. Default - clicks will either be routed by secondary redirect rules (if any) or will rotate offers as they normally would on a direct link campaign. Secondary rules have priority.
    2. Offer Specific - if a specific offer is selected, this is where the click will go. Secondary redirect rules are bypassed.
  16. Status - used for setting the status to the following options;
    1. Active
    2. Inactive
    3. Deleted
